Nubia’s gaming division, Red Magic, is currently gearing up to launch a new version of its flagship masterpiece. The Red Magic 9 Pro+ Bumblebee will debut on March 29. This marks the second time the Transformers film franchise has collaborated with Red Magic, previously happening with the 8S Pro+ Transformers edition.
Red Magic has not yet released any official images of the Red Magic 9 Pro+ Bumblebee, but some promotional images have been shared.
The Red Magic 9 Pro+ Bumblebee edition will feature some differences compared to the standard version and it’s also unlikely to be available for international sale.
Regarding specifications, the Nubia Redmagic 9 Pro+ is designed with an Aircraft Grade Aluminum frame, measuring a compact 164 x 76.4 x 8.9 mm and weighing only 229g, providing users with a comfortable grip during extended use. The phone includes a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera.
Nubia has integrated an ICE 13 vapor chamber cooling system in the Red Magic 9 Pro series, with a surface area of 10m.182mm2 and a fan speed of 22,000 RPM, which is said to reduce heat generated by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip by up to 25°C.
The phone is priced at 5,499 CNY (approximately 775 USD), with the possibility of reaching up to 6,999 CNY (about 1,000 USD), depending on memory options. We expect the Red Magic 9 Pro+ Bumblebee to be in the same price range.
